What is the max torque people have safely run on the UK 5 speeder??

Reason im asking is that when i get my car tekd id like a fair amount of torque but without destroying the box and spitting teeth out.

300 is the safe limit, then you can drive it quite hard, could handle 360lb/ft if you drive like a tart mine broke at 320lb/ft

 

Or!!!!!!!!!!!!! get an STI like Nathan and don't waste it on a WRX

STI, not an option, besides....i like the understated look of mine, im going for the sleeper approach . However, when possible i would prefer to drop a 6 speed in there for added strength.

300 was the number i was thinking, i dont rag the life out of it all the time, but i do do the occasional 1/4 mile effort.
