Default Remove the undertray for better cooling?

I'll be removing my undertray to fit a downpipe and do an oil change on my sti 5 and was wondering if it was worthwhile leaving it off afterwards?

I've lagged the downpipe to try and reduce the under bonnet temps but thought that leaving the undertray off as well could help also. Would anyone recommend it or advise against it?

Cheers

Yep, good idea. I was advised to do this by BRD as he felt it would drop oil temps by upto maybe 5' C. Can't see any reasons other than water splashing for not having it fitted?..
