Question

We're off to Boston MA very soon. Decided that we need a car for 2 of the days. Hertz have a Legacy Outback in their Intermediate 4WD category, but there are none available. Are there any other hire companies in MA which will rent me any Subaru (except, perhaps, a Justy)?

Dave,

This isn't much help, but on the same topic!

I went to Florida in January. Hertz had the Outback on their list then, but also didn't have any available. Come to think of it, I didn't see any in the(huge!)carpark either.Makes me wonder if they actually own any??

I've never seen anyone else with Subaru on their books though.

Best of luck.

Justin.

Talking

I was in Boston MA a few weeks back. Hertz definitely do both the Impreza and Legacy outback from the airport. Meanwhile, I knew nothing about this beforehand and took a 2 litre contour POS. 19 miles to the gallon, too: I almost cried.

Got back to the UK and just *had* to drive very long and rather hard.

"It's great to be alive".

Surprising thing is the number of Subarus that you'll see around Boston. Certainly proportionally more than in this country.

Strange one is that I saw two imprezas with scoops on the bonnet: how can this be?

Impreza RS's have scoops even though they are NA, the scoop is closed off inside though.
