Seen a few strut braces on ebay for my 04 Sti,
has anyone ever purchased & fitted these??
what were your findings ??
Are they worth it ??

Was looking at this option before i went & payed subaru's inflated prices:rasp:

you looking at the pink ended sti ones?emailed both sellers "accurate replicas" was the reply-try japanparts.com for cheap sti braces

Just fitted mine, wrx01. paid £100 for front and rear.

They look like the originals (pink ends) fit well. backs a bit fiddly.

better than paying £475 squid. gotta be mad!!

Theres a front and front and rear going at the mo.

 

Scoobyworld do an 'STi style' strut brace for £69.99 which I am considering for my 01wrx.
I guess it's similar to those on Ebay but I would personally prefer to pay a 'little' more and get one from a known source so to speak.What sorta price are the front ones going for on Ebay at the min? (Last time I looked they were around the 60 quid mark!!)

Agree with Nick, the ebay versions are copies but go sometimes for over £100 which is a joke as people think they are getting a bargain.

I contacted a guy selling one on ebay direct who lived in Yorkshire and while i was over there offered to see it direct before buying as he said it was an 'Original'.Funnily enough he didnt want me to see it before i bought it as he knew it was a cheap copy.

Unless they go for less than £50 dont bother with ebay.
