I'm looking at getting a scoob in the near future and just want some pointers off you guys (the experts). i'm only 21 so i understand insurance can be quite a problem. Don't really want an import and preferably want a 2 door, did Subaru just do this body type on the later and more exclusive models, P1, 22B ect. Any helpful comments will be very much appreciated. cheers people.

Whats wrong with 4 doors?
You have just named the only 2 none import cars (22B type UK and P1) that have the R shell, otherwise your looking at an import, but you will struggle to insure a JDM car as most companies want you to be over 30.
Your budget will also limit you to what you can go for, but you will also need to check any insurance before you consider buying, then find out the prices of servicing said car (its not cheap BTW ) and dont skimp on servicing either, these cars need high maintenance

The 1st thing i'd do if i were u is get some insurance quotes before u get ur hopes up!

U can get some quotes on line, Tesco is quite good on price if you're like me and still have youth on ur side!

Wot sort of budget did u have for the car?

the more help the better cheers guy's, i've got about 7k to spend, thats not includung the insurance. there's nowt wrong with the four door, just want something different. i take it subaru never released a lower end of the market (if u can call them that) car in the R shell.??
