gear crunch!
does any body know why my99 impreza has started crunching when i shift into 4? only does it above 40mph and only when i shift 3-4 on other gear is doing it. i'm not sure what is causing it. thanks simon

sounds like the syncros gone, did you grind a change at any time recently? ive had this problem with my 03 a couple of times.....get a dealer or specialist look at it...
