If you go for a bugeye with a h/light conv. make sure its got PPP or if your not bothered about the warranty ecutek + exhaust etc. You WILL be disappointed with a standard bugeyes midrange performance. I went to one from a MY99 standard Turbo and it FELT slower.

The handling however is a different story with oodles of grip (though understeers at limit) but more traction than a Civic Type R. I do like the looks of the Type R though, what put me off buying one was the gearshift position and the lack of torque.

If you can afford it get an STI, brilliant in all areas IMO

Ive ha d a civic & alot of scoobs, the wrx is very similar in a straight line. the scoobs get the grip, but the civic "around a dry circuit will sort the wrx out i recon. an sti or wri obviously will just pi*s off. I like the civic but the scoob seems so any place anywhere!! just my thoughts......
