Hi i was cleaning out my boost solenoid and piping when i saw that they have a restrictor (97 WRX Import) and was wondering basically what it does and what would happen if you were to remove it? Thanks for your feedback

Helps prevent boost spikes.. you shouldn't remove it.

On the 97 you are on a manual boost controller (www.dawesdevices.com or a bleed valve) or an electronic boost controller.. or a different ecu like a Link or Motec.

Buy some sheet tin or ally and make one, don't think anyone specifically produces one..

make sure you have ducting to bring fresh air to it.
