Default Help! White smoke from MY00 ppp on 35k

I noticed this on Saturday after long drive sitting at traffic lights that white smoke started to come out of the exhaust. I was hoping it was because the oil temp was high but it is still happening even after a couple of minutes from cold.

The car:
Turbo 2000 ppp, scooby sport straight through exhaust, no other mods running at 258BHP.

I bought the car only 3 months ago so I am very worried that is it smoking at this stage as it only on 35k miles.

There is no change to how the car is pulling and all the levels are correct. The smoke is relatively white and lingers around. It does it more when the engine is at normal temp. The volume of smoke is fairly constant and doesn't really billow under revving.

Thanks in advanced for any suggestions
Richard

Are these tests expensive? Are you thinking it might be the head gasket?

not an expensive test, but until its checked there is no way of knowing what it is
local garages etc will all do them(obviously main dealers)
but will show up if there is a problem with anything

I hope this is what it is however I don't think so as it happens after a long drive and the smoke lingers.
