I am going to be putting (hopefully) a 6 speed box in my MY94WRX and apart from all the documented things that need to be done I havent heard anyone mention what to do if you have a cable driven speedo like I have?

Any suggestions?

 

do you really need the speedo LOL

this one could be a lot of fun to work out if the 6 sp is not cable driven ho hum will make a couple of phone calls and text ya later Hopefully

Had a look but can't find anything that refers to a speedo cable drive. Can I fit a UK dash with electronic speedo into a wrx, will the wiring fit or need a lot of modding?

 

How about fitting your cable drive from the 5speed into the 6speed box....Now theres a thought.

 

Well I hoped you may be able to do that, but I haven't physically seen the box yet
