Just recieved a Scoobysport B/B for my 04 WRX although on the invoice in the product description it says Impreza 92-00 Rear Silencer, will this fit or have they sent the wrong one ?

 

If it is a 92-00 back box the centre hanger will be different. (Think it hangs the otherside).
It will fit physically, but it's not right! Send it back!

The scoobysport rear silencer does not have the centre hanger. The reason for this is that they found the exhaust knocked against the underside of the car (I'll check which part of the car) in some cases if it had the centre hanger, so it was removed.

Fitted with the two brackets, it is simpler to fit, and you can literally hang off it. The added bonus is it then fits all models, so owners who buy one for the classic shape, can move it onto their new car if they buy one
