i've just bought a non running forester. I have a thick single cable (+) from the starter motor to the battery and a negative to the body.There are no other cables. Is there one missing? When I turn the ignition there is no responce from anything.It's as if there is no battery fitted.Does anyone know what i'm missing.
If I connect directly to the alternator from the battery there is a power supply to the dash at least.I think the wiring is the same as a wagon sport.
