Hi

I was just wondering are there any distinct smells after you
have driven your scooby hard? I know with the heat that any
smells there before would be easier to detect. I notice after a
hard run that the engine bay has a smell ...

I get this, I traced it to a small water leak from one of the hoses going onto the turbo. The antifreeze drips onto the hot turbo and evaporates off giving the nasty smell.

 

If you`ve driven it hard, & I mean really hard.. there might just be a funny kinda smell from your pants.

 

The smell of burning clutches...mmm

 

IC ... well it went in for a service so im sure they would have picked up if anything was wrong ... thanks for the replies ......
