Default Standard Re-Circ Dumpvalve

Hello

I am after a standard Dump valve which will fit my MY93 WRX Turbo

I have been having problems getting a dump valve to work properly with my FMIC

HKS gave me fud dud dud dud sounds when coming of med throttle

Forge Re-circ is causing car to stall when coming off throttle and rev's falling. Tried diffo springs, got idle ok, but got the Fud dud dud dud noise again

Tried Forge Atmos twin valve, played with springs, either go to strong and get fud dud dud dud dud noise again, or correct noise, but when on motorway and coming of throttle slightly, valve stays open hissing...

So been advised to 'try' a standard re-circ one... Anyone got one????

Also is it 1 inch bore inlet and outlet?

Cheers

Rob: If it helps you the O/E D.V from a '95 WRX is 20mm dia in and out, fairly soft spring and the pressure pushes against the side of the piston and not the piston face itself as with a Forge. I have had similar problems myself this week setting up my WRX after injectors, Hybrid FMIC, TD05-06 from Andy F and so on. Having fitted a red spring to the Forge recic after giving up on a VTA, I had it shimmed to 8mm and was not solving the problem although it was moved up the boost range. Andy had mentioned to me that I should try a softer D.V. so a Seat Ibiza item courtesy of Jonny Gav was fired on. Pretty soft spring.........................Problem solved.
Hope this helps you.
BTW. I will do experiments with the O/E this week-end, then it will be for sale £30 plus £3 postage.
What turbo and intercooler are you running?
