i have a my96 uk running around 300 and wanted to know if anyone had any dealings re the mines remappable ecu?

any commenta good or bad would be appriciated!

ps its a 6s marked on the ecu case if that helps!

 

Not wishing to worry u, but when I was doing the ScoobyECU remaps for 92-96 Impreza I came accross at least 2 imports that had blown running a Mines ECU.

so I defo would not run one in the UK (on UK fuel) let alone in a UK car.

My engine lasted 3 weeks of me having car with a mines ecu. Was replaced with standard one - no probs for the last 18months.

I just took the easy option and told the garage to put standard one on it. Not seen much on here about mines so can't help with mappers etc.

Yeo, there have been a few bad stories with the Mines, do a search. They are normally on cars that have come in from Japan, and can be mapped for an even higher grade of fuel than the already tasty Jap spec stuff...
