SS driving lights deactivating switch diagram
#1
Can anyone post or e-mail me the wiring diagram for the SS driving lights/fog lights deactivating relay switch? I have ordered mine from SS since December and only got the lights so far, but not the switch . PC did e-mail me a diagram, but I have lost the e-mail even though I thought I have saved it on my hard disk. I couldn't get reply from SS despite repeated e-mails for the last 2 months and the lights are gathering dust on my shelf!
Cheers and thanks in advance.

The way I added a switch to the SS lamp kit was to use the bright switch which is just a simple on / off switch.
All I did was to run a new wire from the negative terminal on the battery to the relay coil via the bright switch.
The bright switch now does exactly what is says!
Also if you don't want the clock at full brightness when your headlights are on a simple link across the original switch connector will sort this.
As you are only running a negative lead that powers the coil this can be done in fairly thin wire.

If I can remember I'll scan my diagram and e-mail it to you.
From what I can remember the deactivating part links into the fog light wires and has its own relay.
You could try phoning ScoobySport as I haven't had any reply from my e-mails but Pete always answers the phone and sorts it out.

Thanks Pete for the instant reply. While I can rig up the relay if necessary, I still need the white and clear plastic covers to protect the lights. Pl. check with your shipping department.
