Question

Has anyone tried one of these kits? I'd be interested to hear any experiences regarding brightness / quality / spread of light given out. I'm thinking about a Cibie / PIAA kit which opinion suggests would supply a superb main beam, but that still leaves me with standard dipped beam (on a MY99) which I'd rate as abysmal at best.

Graham Goode do a kit by Morette (?)- any opinions regarding looks, ease of fitting etc.

I'm getting fed up wearing out my front brake pads due to panic braking during the 'where the hell does the road go' moment between full and dipped beam.

I'm pretty sure there are cheaper places than GGR - try shopping around.

I must admit £300 buys a ****load of carrots round these parts......

Alternatively I could some of those lovely fake 4-lamp effect covers (black with round clear holes) to put over the OE lights. Much, much cheaper

I'm interested in this too. There seems to be all manner of ways of getting "daylight" from higher wattage bulbs, driving lights, etc.

But what about dipped beams? Are twins better in this area? If so they are worth the money.

Otherwise ...
