Cool

Hi..

Tthe pump and sender unit are accessible from within the boot.. under the carpet...by the back seats.. under two metal plates...

I was meant to have found the wiring diagram fro someone else on his Jap car...oops.. I better sort that... lol

J.

ps - The best place is at the front of the car...either the relay.. or the wire.. Saves running new cables in and disturbing the trim..etc..

Just remember to not do what a friend of mine did with his Prelude.
He fitted a switch under the back seat, which was easily reached from the drivers seat, no problem there, and well hidden, but when somebody sat on the seat the fuel supply got cut off OOPS

Question

Hi all...

I'm investigating fitting a fuel pump kill switch hidden somewhere in the car and wondered if any knows where the fuel pump and wiring is, I remember a few months back this subject came up but I can't find the thread.

I seem to remember the pump was accesable in the boot can any one tell me where in a 99 Impreza I can find it or where the wiring is situated......and has anyone done the same and want to swap ideas's ?

My dealer's done afew fits of kill switches and uses the fuel pump relay and a Subaru dash switch and for an all in price of about £70 including switch, seems a bit rich and all the little git has to do is figure out it has an extra fog switch on the dash and "bobs your firkin" a waste of £70...

Thanx in advance
Kev
