Can anyone tell me if the 6 spd box non DCCD has 3.9 F and 3.545 R diff with 1.1:1 stepper gear (drop gear) ?


And is this the same with the DCCD GB, also Jap spec 6 spd?

Yes it does for the UK/Euro 6MT. JDM runs 3.9 F+R.

I kept my original 3.545 R diff when I fitted a UK 6MT.

Don't know about the DCCD models.

reason i ask is the S202 seems to have a drop gear too, wasn't sure what the deal was.

Can you tell me if there is only one set of gear ratios for the 6 spd?

 

There are three to my knowledge:

1.UK/Euro (don't know about rest of world)
2.JDM
3.JDM Forester STi

1 has a drop gear, 2 doesn't, don't know about three.
1 has short gears 1-4 and longer 5&6, 2 has same gears 1-4 with shorter 5&6, Forester looks good for a torquey big capacity motor.
