Boost Limit on MY93
Just fitted a GBE Manual boost controller.
After reading a few posts about safe boost limits I decided to go to about 1 bar.
Gradually increased boost, keeping an eye on AFR. Tested in 2nd and 3rd gear.
Why is it that at about 1 bar in 4th, the fuel cut out? Is my gauge wrong or is this the factory limit?

I think fuel Cut is around 14 .5 psi on that year, Plus it will boost harder in the higher gears & peak more , Just nudge it down a little at a time until you don't hit fuel cut in the higher gears

They will be using a fuel cut raiser or on 93-96 models a scooby ecu which plugs into your existing ecu it is a different map with changes to fuel , timming , boost target and fuel cut and also for English 98 ron fuel not Japenese 100 ron .

I have a 93 wrx but have fitted a 1995 wrx RA ecu. What is a safe boost limit (psi) on that ecu? Also, has the fuel defense thing upped now compaired to the 93 one? I have a knocklinck on order along with a Dawes and have a boost gauge fitted running on optimax and millers ob.
Thanks
