Handbrake light on
released handbrake and the handbrake light stayed on, hmm, not good, car seems to drive ok, so what could it be.
Pete Croney told me on iwoc that the light also doubles as a brake fluild warning, so maybe the fluid is low, if so then what fluid should I use?
any ideas? could it be warn rear pads?

Markus - I do not know whether this helps but.....
I had the same problem, and all that was wrong was the connector at the back of the warning lamp was not properly connected.
Richard.

OK, checked fluid level and it's near the max mark, checked for leaks and cannot see any. So what's next.
I know when I got it serviced my mechanic said that the rears were part worn, so I guess the pads and possibly discs are now even more worn.
