hi there.
im missing part of the headers heatshield due to removing it.
its the bit thats about the size and shape of half a football.....ish
what can happen except make the exhaust nuts really rusty?

im going to replace it asap but i cant see how to remove the top section of it.....and i need to get that off cos one of the nut holes has snapped off it....any ideas plz?

The top bits are bolted into the other side of the headers.
I guess that your bolts going through the lower shroud snapped off in the top bits?
To remove them, you have to take each manifold off carefully so that the gaskets can be reused and undo the upper shroud bolts - I bet you have trouble with those as well though!

I ended up squaring off the frozen bolts on the top shroud and drilling through them and tapping again.
