Been down the Subaru shop and bought a Jan O4 WRX SL, I could do with some help on the following;

Who makes the CD/Radio and is it possible to get a remote for it.
Or is it best to bin it and upgrade?
Are there any after market "car computers" similar to the ones found in Audi,Saab etc.
Does the Pro-Drive upgrade drastically alter fuel consumption!!!
Thanks

Radio is made by Kenwood and is not one of their best offerings! If you've got the cash, bin it and treat yourself to a single din unit with an auto-changer in the boot. www.mcs-direct.co.uk Fill the resulting gap with either a PSI(SECS) unit (displays lots of engine related information) or get the Forester centre pocket.(part No 66128SA000)
The PPP has very little adverse effect on consumption. May even improve it in like for like driving. Well recommended.

Thanks - copied PSI(SECS) into Google and got a link to the Saniflo site - not quite what I had in mind, I assume you mean ECUtek data logging - looks good

Thanks

Stereo is shocking rubbish.

Ditch it immediately - even a £100 quid unit with the rubbish standard speakers will make a big difference.

Good luck with the new car,

Brian.
