Default Fitting a MY03 clutch reservoir and housing

going to fit the offset reservoir as on the MY03 to enable the fitting of a STi intercooler, problem is the older style alloy shaft has only one tapping for the clutch line, but the MY03 has twp tappings, one on the front and one on the side. The front tapping expells the fluid but im not sure what the side tap is for, is this just a tandem line and can it be blanked off.
