Fitting fuel pump and reg
I've hopefully got a new walbro pump and regulator on the way. UNfortunately, circumstances have conspired against me and I'm not going to get them (I hope...) until Friday. I then have a remap booked with BRD for 0945 on sat morning! Can I fit this myself on Friday or is it a pig of a job/too technical? Wouldn't have a clue where to start btw

oooooooooooooooooh! Good luck M8! - you'll need your head on to get it done
1 hour for the pump and 2 3/4 hours to remove old reg, fit adaptor and ne whose piece, fit and secure reg, set up fuel pressure, etc. And thats if you know what you are doing

Get your car Booked into David Hendry cars, they are around your way, they fitted mine. Obviously this is a last resort, but it's an idea.

I'd recommend putting back your remap....I fitted a reg and high pressure pipes on me' new age, but I spent a few days doing it...didn't want to rush when it comes to fuel pipes/parts. Make sure your fittings are on and correct. Check and double-check before and when starting the car. I had the rubber seal on the adaptor leak, which would of been nasty if I'd tried to start the car - just having the car with ignition on gives you lower fuel pressure, but enough to check the pipes before starting.
