Talking site is always down in the mornings ?

In the morning for you in UK, between 1pm - 6pm here in Australia (probably something like 3am to 8am in UK), the site is unreachable. What gives ?

Doesn't happen quite often too, weird ..

It was down this morning for me too. I'm in the UK, so it's not a routing thing.

I've run a forum in the past, forums often use SQL databases & sometimes these things need to be rebooted. My hosting co gave me a button to press in my hosting control panel which rebooted the SQL server (they trusted me!). If the mods could get a link to reboot, it could reduce downtime.

prana, Nick

We don't use a hosting company in the same way as you describe. We pay for server space and bandwidth, plus a few extra things here and there. We have complete control and access of our own servers (3 currently).

We have a solution for the morning downtime thing, but it's taking a while to impliment.

All the best

Simon

Thanks for the feedback Simon

I know how hard work it is to run a site. Thanks for providing the service.

Yup, thanks for informing us. Good to know it is not a routing issue. Cheers
