got home last night from work and noticed some smoke from the intercooler vent.

popped the bonnet and had a goosey, and there was a bit of smoke coming from the turbo, hot side from under the cover (i have a WRX 01 bugeye)

it lasted about 3 minutes or so...

i would have to admit to not giving it a proper minute cool down at idle but i had been driving very slow until i got home as i was stuck behind people
probably only took it to 4k rpm...

anyway checked it again this morning on the way to work, no strange noises or smoke when i parked up...

just phoned the dealer and he said to keep an eye on it and bring it in if it happens again...

any second opinions?
