anyone got or know of some good desriptions / guides on how to change the downpipe??

Some say you need new gaskets, others have managed to use the old ones. Most common problem is shearing bolts. Lots of WD40 is essential, and allow it to soak for a day or so before tackling. Also, trim the heatshield to get it back on.
