What will expect from doing this noise wise and will I get any power increase. Is it a good idea to do this with decatting the front pipe

You probably won't notice any performance increase or noise. Lose front cat and you will know instantly that you have more power!

When I swapped the resonated pipe for a straight-through section I noticed a BIG increase in noise, especially when cruising around 60-70mph. Very noticable pops & bangs too. The droning noise got on my nerves so I refitted the original resonated section. I doubt it makes any difference to the performance - the original resonated pipe is a straight-through design.
