Question Backbox installation - is it easy?

I have bought a second hand WR Sport backbox for my bugeye and wondered if I'll be able to install it myself. I'm not big on car DIY but would like to give this a go - can anyone advise if this is straighforward and if there are any pitfalls to watch out for?

Cheers.

Question

Thanks Andy. Do you think I'll need a new gasket and, if so, will I be able to get one from a Subaru parts dept?

You could possibly get away with using the original gasket but it may be wise to have a spare in case the original breaks on removal of the standard backbox. The Subaru Parts Department normally keep the gaskets in stock.

Sounds like a good idea.

Thanks for the comments, I'll give it a go. How far can you drive without a backbox anyway...........
