Oh sooooooooo much 
AVCS (vvt for the uninitiated), better engine components (well on the JDM cars
) better gearbox, better brakes, heavier, bigger turbo, intercooler, piping, well pretty much everything under the shell, there isnt much that isnt changed on the STi compared to the WRX, a completely different beast.
