i fitted a blitz airfilter 2 weeks ago to MY98 wrx (which sounds awsome) but for the last week i seem to be haveing idleing problems (sometimes i think it gonna stall) and i'm getting the odd pop from the exhaust!
does this sound like the maff sensor?
should i change back to the original airfilter?
any help would be great!

Yes that does sound like the maf.
I have the same blitz induction kit on mine and have been told to change back to a green panel filter coz my maf is cocked up!!
Bloody pain when you've forked out £170 odd but better in the long run!!!

It's fine to use an induction kit, but use one that actually has a filter on the end (the Blitz one is more like a tea strainer than a filter), and be very careful fitting it!
(The original) MAF sensors wear out, whatever the air inlet system - give'em 3 years & they'll be reading wrong, just like lambda sensors.
And remember to change the MAF sensor as well as the filter, ASAP!

Yes you can, plug the connectors toghether, reset the ecu and go for a gentle drive while they're still connected, and the cel should flash a code at you! once it's done that, undo the plugs!
