Unhappy misfire on full throtle

the car misfires when cold right through the rev range but only does it when you floor it when it is warm it feels like its cuting out.it drives fine when driven normal.revs sometimes stop at about 1200 rpm for a couple of seconds then goes back to normal.
i had a error code for a oxygen sensor so i changed that. the code has gone but still the same problem apart from the mpg has gone back to normal.

can anyone help i dont want to just change things hoping that will fix it.

p.s. my93 standard apart from s/s cone filter and ninja back

A lad i met at the rollers had the same problem, he had his coil packs changed which sorted it out.

Try doing a search on "coil packs" and see if it relates to your problem.

thanks i think i will order some coil pack tomorrow is it better to change all 4 or just get 2 and try and find the faulty one?
also when i first start the car after it has sat for about 30mins you can hear a gurgling sound coming from what sounds like the petrol tankwhen you start it up.could that be a fueling problem? or is that normal?

thanks
