Default Portable DVD Players.......

I'm off on a course next week, miles from home so thought I might pick up a portable DVD player to occupy myself with. Gotta sort it quick though!

I'm looking around 200 quid really. The 2 I've seen are:

http://gameloaded.co.uk/index.php?ma...yers&code=9433

and

http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index....l.php&p=301474

Anyone got any thoughts on these or any other similarly priced way of watching DVD away from home, without having to cart my hoooooooooj player around?!!!!

Aye, but only 5" for 250, the one above is 7". Cheers for the link though!

Bit the bullet and ordered the Mustek (due to the amount of formats it plays )from Ebuyer, as they'll deliver it tomorrow

Should be able to get an old laptop for £200-300. I have an Apple Powerbook G3 with 15" screen (and multi-region ) which there should be plenty of kicking around at Apple re-sellers. Click here to find one. You'll be getting a lot more than a DVD player, with a much bigger screen for the same money.

I did think about something like that, but I'm getting a lappy in a couple of months through work so didn't see the point. Makes good sense to others though!
