Thumbs up

Big thanks to Dave.

He knows what for!

For what it's worth out there up North, I have just added a downpipe to complete my Jap Innovation exhaust system and it's blown me away

Fabulous sound, very destinctive, bearable internal noise and also the obvious benefits of the downpipe mod.

If you are up North, looking for a System, Give Dave a shout, you'd be daft not to

The only Scoobs worth their salt have HKS systems and that is the end of this thread.

I've got a HKS Hiper system WITH Jap Innovations downpipe

I'm with you Mikey, I'm well chuffed with mine and I'm even thinking of ditching the HKS for their own system to get a bit more low down. HKS is great for top end power, but its big diameter stops the turbo spinning up as quick due to insufficient backpressure.

One of the best things about Jap Innovations is their flexibility. I drop my car off with them at 6pm and it's ready the same night, so I'm never without my car during the day. These guys work into the small hours sometimes to satisfy customers. Not many places do that.

They've done lots of work for me and I've always been pleased with their work AND their prices. I paid £40 less for a Forge DV there than for the identical part from a well known Scooby tuner (and that included fitting)!. Their labour charges are a lot less than most to.

E.g. Graham Goode (who I think are a top outfit and I am not dissing, they probably have greater overheads) charge £90 to fit a d/p
J I charged me £40 and it took ages as all the bolts sheared off due to age/heat.

That's my opinion anyway.

Unhappy

Paul,

Truly you are an ****!!!

I know where the exhausts come from and the manufacturer, but the company who sold it to me and looked after me was Jap Innovations. Now if I wanna come on the bbs and sing someones praises, I bloody well will.

As far as posting where you can get the same thing cheaper is concerned, I think you'll find that I paid less for my system than I was quoted by your chap.

Price is a very subjective matter and I feel that people sell things and buy things for what they consider it to be worth. I would have bought from Jap Innovations even if they had been MORE expensive, because the service and advice that they have given me would have justified the extra.

Also I feel that Jap Innovations are TRUE enthusiasts.

Last but not least Paul, Dave isn't my NEW friend, I have known him since B4 i even got a scoob.

So there you have it. The Scooby aftermarket parts business is a tough, competetive one, lets help them succeed rather than trying to slate one company over another.

Rant Over

MIKEY

I thought Paul was merely stating you could get the exhaust cheaper elsewhere and WASN'T slagging off Jap Innovations and why should he anyway?
Someone has mis-interpreted.
