Question Cracking noise coming from clutch pedal

Hi all,

keep getting this loud cracking noise from the clutch pedal on my MY98 turbo wagon, not sure what it is wonder if anyone can shed some light??? it feels as if there is a cog system and it keeps slipping off a tooth every time i press the pedal down, in fact it started intermittently but has got worse, still have warranty till april

thanks in advance

It's the pedal mechanism, it could be worth asking the dealer tyo take a look, sonetimes anew bush fixes it, sometimes not, mine does it sometimes, and then not for weeks, learning to ignore it now!

My pedal sometimes makes a cliciking noise when depressed. There is a small clip behind the pedal that can spin round and something catches on it. Just needs a little rotating to sort it out. There was a thread sometime ago about this.
