Question

Has anybody had any experience with these? are they worth spending the extra ££££'s over the Super Powerflow Filter kit ? does it give you more power than the cheaper version as they claim?

Cool

I just had the SPF installed and it really makes a difference (apart from the noise). If the racing version is better then I would really recommend it. Otherwise go for the standard it's still cool.

Under hard driving: a lot
Under normal driving: a bit

Whistles with your foot on the accelerator, this gets louder the more you give it. On a gear change it sounds like there's a pretty major dump fitted.

There was a thread recently with a link to the GTR owners club. There was a test of 4 filters - apexi, Blitz, HKS and K&N.

The Blitz and HKS weren't worth having on

They do give good gains, but at the expense of?

Jake,

When I say they weren't worth having on, I was referring to filtration - they basically stop bugger all!

Interestingly, the Apexi filtered better than any of them, but also produced the best results.

K&N was 2nd.

I have the HKS Racing Suction Kit on my scooby - I think it is great - makes a lovely wooshing noise, and I did notice a slight increase in performance over the Monster Racing Suction Kit that I had.
