I just can get my hands on a 6 speed gearbox from a MY01 Sti New Shape car.can I use it on my 218 BHP MY00 (Intake and exhaust system are changed)and will it give a good result or do I have to change the engine to and is it possible

 

im not sure but i do know that the gearbox is totally different to ur standard 1it's a lot bigger and heavier but i would have thought it would bolt straight on not sure about the transmission tunnel though

 

Must admit to thinking about this myself, but at the end of the day; might as well buy a new STI instead

IMHO whats the point ?
better spending the money on something else, an extra cog ain't improve car cars performance.

 

kurt: Why donīt you import an STi from, for example Sweden? There are thousands of cars imported from Germany, Belgium etc. TO Sweden every year so I figure it should work the other way around aswell.

The price of the 265bhp STi will be around 375.000SEK when itīs released after New Year.
