fitted a hks down pipe today.
when i purchased it i was told it will fit to my magnex cent. pipe
tried to fit it and had to buy a reducer to make the hks at2 3/4 in fit my magnex at 2 1/2 in.
have i got the wrong down pipe?
will it be ok??

 

Hi, I have an HKS downpipe mated to a Magnex centre..

A spacer had to be fitted so that it would fit. it's about 1/2 - 1 inch wide..!

hi m8, been looking at down pipes myself, falkland do a down pipe, and its made by magnex so thaty would go straight on, there about 153+vat. i know thats not much help but it will fit better. give kevin a ring at falkland he might be able to advise you on your current fitment. Lee

 

I also have HKS downpipe into magnex system , the only problem I had was that the HKS d/p is shorter than the standard one , so it was making the back box vibrate on the rear anti roll bar , the solution , a nissan primera 2.0 manifold to d/p gasket and a bigger wire mesh gasket has done the trick.
