Reset the ECU

Please help!!!
Just tried resetting the ECU, and don't know where the connectors are located. Is it the passenger side by the ECU or under the steering wheel ?
Not sure what wired to short, etc so any help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures would be great. Sorry to ask a question that has already been asked, but done a search and can't find anything that helps. A website address would also be helpful.
