Need some urgent advice.
I thinking of buying a second hand car privately, about 80,000 miles, but for peace of mind I'm thinking of buying an independant comprehensive warranty to cover engine, gearbox, electrics etc.
I'm a bit sceptical...are they good/bad any recomendations??
Thanks in advance

Dont bother save ur money coz they will skank you, if your engine blows it will be "well sir you was drving it too hard and our policy does not cover that" remember there in it to make money, i wouldnt recommend one!

you can get a sort-of warranty with the AA
costs about £90 a year and providing your car has less than 100K miles and is less than 10 years old it covers you for 3 repair jobs a year upto £500 a time, just has to be deemed by an AA mechanic as needing to be fixed and work done at an AA approved garage

Thumbs down

Waste of money, the pages of small print exclude payouts if anything breaks !

keep your cash for repairs if you need any, its a better gamble.
