My mates car has just returned from the local subaru dealer after having medium crash damage to the front offside. I have had a look at it for him and noticed that there is no plastic engine bay cover/sump gaurd fitted. Is this the norm with this year of car as my 99 wagon has a plastic gaurd fitted. Does anyone know the score.

Thanks mark, this car is a wagon do you think that will make a difference, I don't but just so that we are ready for the garage's crap in the morning when we quiz them!

 

My MY02 wagon has one - so his should too !
