what db a p1 with a full ss system ?

does anybody know what db reading i should get on a p1 with a full scoobysport system and a itg panel filter ?

Most I've seen have gotten around 98 dB@4500 rpm...I got a whopping 103.summat@4500 rpm must be something wrong with my backbox.



I like it though.

Hi Mark,

I had a ScoobySport Downpipe, standard mid-section (which doesn't contain a cat or anything anyway) and magnex 6x4" oval back box.. this was 86db .. the Downpipe + Super Drager (mid section / back box) wasn't much louder, still under 100db, 95 ish I think.

You'll probably get early 90's dba at 3500 rpm 1 m straight behind the exhaust (FIA Regs I believe) Full revs it'll peak at 100+, tick over down in the 70's

Just put the full system on my P1. Its very very loud. About the same as my last HKS Hiper.

thanks, i am doing a track day at goodwood next month, i think i will take my standard backbox with me just in case
