Question

Just had the PPP fitted on my MY03 WRX yesterday.
Ive noticed that when the revs are quite high in either 4th or 5th I seem to get sort "pulsing sensation" in the delivery of power.
Is this normal?
Could the e.c.u still be learning or should I go back to the dealer?
Or is the car being starved of air?
Definitely feels like something is limiting the power!

Thumbs up

Yep my STI sometimes does it...
I honestly think its to do with Atmospherics and possibly petrol!
Some days it flys around 8k next it feels steppy..."is that a word" Anyhow it was muggy and wet today and it felt a bit off it...
Reaon I think this is whe I had a bike it felt very similar, and was very iffy as to the temp\humidity..

hope this helps

Wink

Try super unleaded fuel or optimax (if not already), or a bottle of octane booster

I have seen a few Deltadash outputs of STi7s including PPPs which show the knock correction rapidly increasing and decreasing (pulsing) at 5500-6500 rpm. I wonder if it is this causing the pulsing effect. It can be cured with an Ecutek remap. However, I thought that the STi8PPP and WRX03PPP had Ecutek remaps now and therefore the mapping would be better than on the old piggy back PPPs.
