Hola amigos!

I'm searching for a kit that lets me remove the maf bit, to keep it for a rainy day...

ANy ideas...no 250 squid HKS ripoffs please... I've spent it all on that trip over.

If you had spent your money on bits instead of ladies of the night when you came over, your old crate would look as good as our fugly ones mate....

You can get it cheeper ...
I opted for a PiperX filter as it has a metal neck, you could go for others by cutting a piece of pvc pipe to clamp jubilee clip onto.
Then get a length of silicone hose and cut the ends at an angle, fit and clamp.
Heres one I prepared earlier ....

DTS>> So it actually costs money to make my nice one slower, and on top of that fugly-fy it?

Cheers Nigel, I assume that the neck on the PX is roughly the same diameter as the inlet on that awful plastic thingy?

Showing off your upgrade digital camera again nigel!!

On a more serious note, Nigel, could you run this setup without the Link ECU that you've got? or is this needed to get rid of the MAF?
