The 6x4 oval has a piece inside which has a round opening which probably is around 2-3 inch. This can be removed, its only spot welded in although it makes it louder. I left mine alone.

if i removed the metal inside the outlet i would be left with a 2" pipe inside the 6*3 outlet. What im trying to say is that my 6*4 oulet is sleeved down on to a 2" oulet pipe.Is this right for magnex rear boxs.what the point in having it sleaved down at the tail pipe but then put a 6*4 cover on top?.seems to counteract the point in having a 2.5" downpipe and center section? i get some pics up (when i figure it)
