My speedo head has just gone awol on me. I have had a look at all the cables and they all seem to be ok so it would seem that the speedo head is the fault.

Is it at all possible for me to use a UK speedo head to replace the WRX one? I guess that would meen i wouldnt need the converter from KMh to Mph???

Also, has anyone got any idea where i can get these new, ether a Jap (Wrx) one or a Uk one.

My Car is a MY96 WRX

Cheers guys.

Luke

Unfortunately the WRX speedo is cable driven, whereas the UK speedo is electronically driven. TBH the cable has most likely snapped, have you checked both sides of the convertor to make sure both sections are intact??
How did you check them? if a cable becomes tight it will appear to be attatched but in reality it is stuck and broken.

Rob.
