Huh??? why? how??

I've heard of it on Land Rovers (quicker than nicking the wheels ) IN fact I did it myself when I found a knackered one dumped in a field and thought some spare halfshafts may be handy

Mind you, some scally bar stewards nicked the gearbox out of our works truck once (yes- a huge fecking lorry gearbox)

cant belive that sum driveshafts would be nicked

ive seen bumpers and stuff go missing while people have been @ work, but driveshafts

although on a same kind of note, i was buying a engine and gearbox for a nova years and years ago, it was cheap, condition was that we had to remove it ourselves from the car, which was outside sumbodys house, not a problem tho, get a few lads and sum jacks and stuff and work on it on a nite time

1st nite we stripped it all down and loosened the mounts
2cnd nite we dropped the lump and lifted up the car to remove the gearbox and engine, car drives past, then stops and reverses, lad gets out
"what do you think your doing"
"what does it look like im taking the engine "
"err ok"

lad gets back in car and we continue, 2 mins later house door bursts open and a mad fat woman starts kicking off bigstyle becuase were nicking the engine

i ring the bird whos car it was, she explains that its her boyfriends mothers house and they didnt tell her i would be taking the engine
his mother starts rabbiting on about "if you take the engine your taking the fooken car as well"

i dont want the car so i tell her where to go, open me mates van doors and sling the engine and gearbox in

nigh on 2 full nites worth of work removing a engine in a street outside a house b4 the owner of the house relised
