I need exhaust that will not affect my warranty. Does anybody have any suggestions.

Also how much bhp will re mapping the ecu give me.

Depends on how old your car is. There is now a WRSport (Prodrive) silencer for 99/00MY Sport available from your Subaru dealer.

It is a week old Mike

It came with a chrome oval trim, but I am looking for that sporty sound. Not a loud exhaust.

I think you may find re-mapping your ECU will give you warranty problems and relitavely easy to diagnose when they plug it into the 'cupter!

I believe that Prodrive do a chip for the Turbo - don't know about the Sport - theirs is the only one i know of that doesn't affect your warranty.

I had a Vetcra chipped by a Superchips dealer for £ 185.00

Rule of thumb for non-turbo petrol engines 12% more BHP
15% more torque
tends to be smoother delivery of power - no flat spots

you do the maths - my brain hurts!

Its oval approx 120 x 75mm at £300 inc vat.
