hi guys,

ive currently got the same prob as the other burning oil thread but looks like its finished.

My leak/seep seems to be coming from the bulk head/drivers side bottom rocker gasket bolt - my prob is can i get any of my tools onto that bolt or even my hands down there - i dont think so Bl###y frustrating!!!! so off out today to try and buy some mini socket stuff to attack it with. Tried from the top and bottom but my socket/ratchet and any other combi too big!!!! what have you used in the past??

I would not simply suggest tightening up the lower bolts, as due to the heat down there, the seals "dry", thus causing the leak.
I would personally, remove the cover and rubber gasket, clean and dry both surfaces, then apply a thin smear of silicon sealer around the joint faces. Then refit, leave for a couple of hours to "cure" BEFORE running the engine, therwise the oil will react with the sealer and wil leak again.

Simply tightening the blts is a temporary fix and only stretches the threads in the alloy castings.
